With hundreds of amazing locations in Chicago and the Chicagoland suburbs to choose from, it can feel like there are almost too many options for family portrait locations. Today I’ll be sharing with you my favorite family portrait locations to capture sessions (so far, this list is going to grow I’m sure). Enjoy!
The Graue Mill & Museum
Located in heart of Oak Brook, this location is one of my favorite for capturing family portrait sessions! This location offers multiple backdrops for photos and is a gorgeous location for fall sessions when the leaves begin to turn. The mill and museum offers a waterfall backdrop, a vintage gristwheel, a small beach area next to a beautiful path (add fall leaves and it’s magical) and lots more!
The Redfield Estate
Growing up in Arlington Heights, I would often visit The Redfield Estate with my family for the holidays! This wonderful outdoor space offers many different backdrops for family and senior sessions! With multiple paths, high grasses and a beautiful estate as a backdrop, this location will always be a staple! In the fall be sure to pack bug spray!
