A speakeasy theme, live music, colorful decor, and a packed dance floor? This corporate event at Metropolis Ballroom in Arlington Heights was such a fun one to photograph! From the moment guests arrived in costume, the energy throughout the ballroom was incredible. Between the themed details, live band, dramatic lighting, and creative decor throughout the evening, every part of this event came together perfectly for a memorable night in downtown Arlington Heights.

I met up with Wendy and her sweet family for a summer family session at Cantigny Park in Wheaton, and we started our Cantigny adventure near the Visitor Center. From there, we explored the Rock & Gravel Garden, one of my favorite spots, the gorgeous display gardens, flowers in bloom for the summer, and some of the quieter tucked-away areas throughout the property that always photograph beautifully in the early afternoon light.
